We are Stonehaus, a counter top company with a desire to be different. Stonehaus is a custom granite and quartz countertop fabricator located in Vincennes, Indiana. We utilize breakthrough technology and state-of-the-art stone fabrication equipment, giving you the stone countertop of your dreams! Our completely automated, state-of-the-art fabrication facility allows us to consistently offer the highest quality countertops with a very quick lead-time.
How It Works
Stonehaus features 38 in-stock colors! Granite and quartz slabs weighing up to 1,500 lbs are inventoried and available to view in our showroom. Once a customer selects a color, our digital templating allows us to measure their project with their existing countertops still in place. When their countertops are ready, we can return and install in just one day. After the digital template is complete, custom software is used to layout the cutting pattern directly onto a high-resolution picture of the stone to ensure consistency, efficient use of the stone, and to allow the customer to see what the finished pattern will look like before it’s cut to ensure they will be satisfied. When the layout’s complete, it’s loaded into the computer that runs the CNC saw jet/water jet machine or new stone cutting robot that cuts the stone to shape. Our cutting machines and edge profile and polishing machines are among the biggest, most technologically advanced machines of their type in the country. The CNC saw jet/water jet machine uses up to 50,000psi to cut the stone, and once the stone is cut, it moves to one of our two CNC router machines. The CNC router machines are capable of selecting the appropriate tooling to profile and polish the edges of the stone to a high-gloss shine. After the edge profiles and polishing are complete, the countertops are loaded into our specially outfitted delivery van.
